Patrick Gorman, DMA, has served as the director of the Saint Raphael Choir (which now sings at Saint Patrick) since 1998. Gorman, who also serves as director of the Office of Worship for the Diocese of Madison, has written and taught extensively on the role of the choir in the reformed liturgy. In addition to his other duties, he serves as director of the Madison Diocesan Choir and the Philharmonic Chorus of Madison. He is a graduate of the College of Wooster (Ohio), the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to moving to Madison, he worked as director of music and liturgy at Christ the King Catholic Church in South Bend, Indiana and taught voice at the University of Notre Dame. He lives in Madison with his wife and two daughters.
