Cathedral 20s&30s: Symphony Night

Dress up and come with us! Thursday February 13th is open dress rehearsal night for the Madison Symphony Orchestra (MSO). The MSO is one of the few orchestras in the nation that allows the public to attend its dress rehearsals free of charge, and it is treated as a concert. Featuring Tine (pronounced Tina) Helseth, a female trumpet virtuoso from Norway. Most of our 20 spots are already filled but email Brenda quickly to see if you can still get one! Details:  

  • 5:30pm: optional dinner at Ian's Pizza on State St. (Cost of dinner on your own, within walking distance to the concert).
  • 6:45pm: meet at Overture Center, 201 State St. (Email Brenda so we know to look for you).
  • 7:00pm: Rehearsal starts (arrive by 6:45 for seating), lasts 2-3 hrs with 15 min intermission
