Parish Pilgrimage - Holy Resurrection Monastery

Bishop_Ricken_and_Abbot_N.jpgJoin us on pilgrimage to Holy Resurrection Monastery, a Byzantine monastery of the Romanian Greek-Catholic Church, and learn more about the Eastern Rites of the Catholic Church.  The monastery is located in St. Nazianz, Wisconsin; the picture on the left features Abbot Nicholas, who oversees the monastery, along with Bishop Ricken of the Diocese of Green Bay (where St. Nazianz is located).

The coach bus will leave from St. Patrick Church at 7:00 am and return around 5:00 pm. The Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at the monastery, followed by lunch. The afternoon will include talks about the Eastern and Western churches and monasticism, as well as a tour of the monastery.

Please return your registration form (found on the parish kiosks), with the fee ($35 - parishioner, $55 - non-parishioner:  includes transportation, meal, tour, and donation), to the office no later than Thursday, January 28th. Checks should be made payable to 'Cathedral Parish' and can be mailed to:  Cathedral Parish, 404 E. Main Street, Madison WI 53703.  Please call the parish office at 257-5000 with any questions!
