Theology on Tap
Please note the SPECIAL 6 PM START TIME! There is a 7:30 Packer-Bear game so feel free to hang out afterward for a watch party!
Did you know that three of the first popes were from Africa? Or that the Church is growing faster in Africa than anywhere else in the world? Or that the Catholic Church has been the largest non-state provider of healthcare and education in Africa? Come on out to hear Fr. Tafadzwa Kushamba, a native of Zimbabwe, share how Jesus Christ is transforming the lives of many Africans!
Fr. Tafadzwa was ordained on June 26, 2015, by Bishop Robert Morlino, and has served as the parochial vicar at St. Maria Goretti Parish since then. Fr. Tafadzwa is originally from Zimbabwe; he moved to the United States in 2010. He studied at St. Mary's Seminary in Detroit.
What is Theology on Tap?
Theology on Tap is a monthly event, generally the fourth Thursday of the month, where 20s&30s are invited to join us for free beer and engaging talks by some of the leading thinkers, speakers, educators, innovators, and activists in the nation as they share their insights on various contemporary issues facing young adults today.
