Theology on Tap - "The Name of God is Mercy: Encountering Divine Mercy in an Unjust World"
Fr. Scott grew up in Appleton, WI. After high school he moved to Madison, WI to attend the University of Wisconsin where he obtained a B.A. in psychology. Following college he spent 2 years living in Colorado, where he came back to the Catholic Church that he was baptized in as a child (after previously spending time both in the secular and Protestant Christian worlds). While in Colorado, and in response to an invitation from the Lord Jesus to follow Him more completely, Fr. Scott applied to seminary for the Diocese of Madison. After being accepted, he spent his first 2 years attending St. Paul Seminary in St. Paul, MN where he studied philosophy. Afterwards, he spent 3 years studying in Rome where he obtained a S.T.B. (Bachelor's degree in Sacred Theology) from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (the Angelicum). He then finished his last year of seminary in Detroit, MI at Sacred Heart Major Seminary before being ordained a priest in June of 2014. He is currently serving as the Parochial Vicar at St. Bernard and St. Henry Catholic Churches in Watertown, WI.
