Theology on Tap - "Proclaiming the Gospel with Joy and Swagger: The Heart of the New Evangelization"
How can we help people encounter Jesus Christ in today's world? With the Year of Faith underway, Lindsay Becher, fellow young adult and Coordinator of Youth and Young Adult Formation for the Diocese of Madison, will share seven steps filled with advice on how to engage in the work of the New Evangelization. In a time when so many Catholics have fallen away from the faith, this work is more important than ever. Come hear about what some of the great leaders of the Church - including Blessed JPII, Pope Benedict XVI, those present at the October 2012 Synod of Bishops, Cardinal Timothy Dolan and Jesus himself - have to say about this topic.
Theology on Tap is a monthly event where 20s&30s are invited to join us for free beer and engaging talks by some of the leading thinkers, speakers, educators, innovators, and activists in the nation as they share their insights on various contemporary issues facing young adults today.
