Lenten Stations of the Cross

5_simon_cyrene.jpg

The public praying of the Stations of the Cross is a longstanding Catholic custom — transporting from Jerusalem the ancient custom of pilgrims who retraced the Lord’s route through the city on the day of His death. We pray the Stations together in each of the churches of our parish during Lent.

At St. Patrick, the Stations are prayed after the 12:10 Masses on the Wednesdays of Lent. At Holy Redeemer, the Stations are prayed in English after the 5:15 pm Masses on Thursdays.
