Mass for Solemnity of Immaculate Conception (Holy Day of Obligation)

marystain.jpgImmaculate Conception Mass Schedule:
Holy Day of Obligation

On this feast, we celebrate the reality that God preserved Mary, Mother of Jesus, from the disease of Original Sin from the very moment she began to exist at her conception in her mother's womb.  Check out this article for some more insight into why we thank God in a special way for Mary on this day!
We typically have an evening Mass at St. Patrick on holy days of obligation.  For the Immaculate Conception, the evening Mass will be on Monday (the vigil) so that we can have the stipulated Tuesday confessions for the Year of Mercy.  The complete Mass schedule for the holy day is as follows:

Monday, December 7, Vigil Mass:
5:15 pm-Holy Redeemer
7:00 pm-St. Patrick
Tuesday, December 8:
12:10 pm-St. Patrick
  5:15 pm-Holy Redeemer
  7:30 pm-Holy Redeemer (en español)
