Theology on Tap

How do I know if I’m following the Lord’s plan for my life?  Jesus Christ was sent to make known and present the good news of the Kingdom of God and He has invited us to participate in this same mission.  God’s mission is where our vocational journey begins and ends.  Come hear a Diocesan Vocations Director's perspective on God's call to fullness of life for each of us, how our personal desires fit into that call, and how searching for signs can make answering the call complicated.  Enjoy a brew and some apps with great people!

Rev. Gregory Ihm is the Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Madison.  He grew up on a small dairy farm in a Catholic family, attended seminary in Winona, MN and Rome Italy, and was ordained a priest in 2010.  He has been assisting men and women in discerning the Lord’s vocational call since July 2013 by his involvement on college campuses, youth events, and young adult activities. He participates in the formation of the seminarians preparing for Diocesan Priesthood.  He hopes to create a culture of vocations that aids people in knowing the Lord’s will and being free to respond to it!

What is Theology on Tap?

Theology on Tap is a monthly event, generally the fourth Thursday of the month, where 20s&30s are invited to join us for free beer and engaging talks by some of the leading thinkers, speakers, educators, innovators, and activists in the nation as they share their insights on various contemporary issues facing young adults today.
