Our Lady of Guadalupe Celebration and Mass


December 11th

On the vigil of the feast, the principal Mass for Our Lady of Guadalupe will be celebrated at Holy Redeemer beginning at 10:00 pm.  Fr. Jose will be the main celebrant, Msgr. Holmes will concelebrate and Bishop Morlino plan to attend in choir.

8:00 pm
: Recitation of the Holy Rosary
9:00 pm
: Dance and representation (play) of the apparition of the Virgin of Guadalupe to Juan Diego
10:00 pm:

Mariachis will play for the Mass and serenade the Virgin with the "mañanitas" until 1:00 am.  Food will be shared after the "mañanitas."  All are invited to come and take part in these festivities, but be advised that they are entirely in Spanish and are typically very crowded.


December, 12th

The Hispanic Community would like to extend to English-speaking parishioners a special invitation to join in a bilingual Mass on Wednesday evening, December 12th at 8:00 pm.  Fr. Jose will be the celebrant and Msgr. Holmes will concelebrate. There will be music and dancing preceding the Mass beginning at 7:00 pm. A reception will follow Mass.
