Theology on Tap - “The Greatest Gift: Living Christmas Joy Every Day”

Poster_TOT_William_J_Dennison_II.jpgThursday, December 12th:

Joy to the world, the Lord is come - let earth receive her King!

The Christmas season is, by most accounts, the most joyous time of year.  This is because we get to celebrate the Incarnation of Jesus Christ.  2,000 years ago, the world changed forever with the birth of Jesus.  God walked among us.  And once every 365 days, we take time to remember that fact.  But we often fail to remember that Jesus promised us that He would be with us always unto the end of days.  He's still here.  Present.  With us.  In a very real way, we should be celebrating the Incarnation--the Word made Flesh--every single day.  Where and how can we do that?  At Mass.  By receiving the Eucharist.  Joy to the world.  The Lord is come.  Let earth receive her king.

Speaker: William J. Dennison II

Will and his wife homeschool their five children in Wonder Lake, Illinois.  After earning his undergraduate degree in philosophy and communications from Cornell College, Will attended the Northwestern University School of Law, where he concentrated his studies in Law & Social Policy.  Since his graduation in 2002, Will has been a practicing attorney in the state of Illinois.  He served as an Assistant State’s Attorney until 2008, and, since that time, has run his own small firm.  Will holds a Master of Theological Studies degree from Ave Maria University, and is the founder and President of The St. Augustine Center for Apologetics & Evangelization, a lay apostolate dedicated to defending and sharing the Catholic faith.  He hopes one day to live to see his beloved Cubs win a World Series.
