Theology on Tap - "More Than A Paycheck: Discovering the Eternal Significance of Our Daily Work"
Are our jobs in the secular world something completely separate from our life of faith? If faith should enter into all aspects of our lives, how can we approach our work so that it bears fruit for the Kingdom of God?
- Want to know the secret to getting the full potential out of your work?
- Do you allow mediocrity to sabotage your work?
- Want to improve your attitude at work?
- Do you do you love your work or do you work with love?
Join us at Theology on Tap as Juan Landa dives into these questions and more.
Juan Landa is the founder of Mater Dei Catholic Pilgrimages. Born in communist Cuba; raised in fascist Spain and in an underdeveloped Puerto Rico. He graduated from Florida State University. Juan Landa has worked his way up in the tourism industry from being a waiter to becoming a tour guide to managing hotels to founding his own tourism company. He has fulfilled the proverbial "American Dream". Juan Landa learned that his Faith plays an integral part of his work! When he is not traveling leading pilgrimage groups all over the world, he lives in Waunakee, WI, with his family.
Theology on Tap is a monthly event where 20s&30s are invited to join us for free beer and engaging talks by some of the leading thinkers, speakers, educators, innovators, and activists in the nation as they share their insights on various contemporary issues facing young adults today.
