Theology on Tap

Serving and loving can really feel good! But what does it truly mean to love and serve others? For as Fyodor Dostoevsky says, 'love in action is a harsh and dreadful thing compared with love in dreams.'
No matter how rich you are, you have a deep need, and no matter how poor you are, you have something to offer. This is the heart of the Gospel we are trying to rediscover at the Riverwest Food Pantry.
Come discover how 'love in action' is being lived out in this mission in Milwaukee!
Samantha Vosters coordinates the volunteers and mission interns at the Riverwest Food Pantry in Milwaukee.  She studied Catholic Studies and Psychology at the University of St. Thomas, lived as a missionary in the Bronx, before starting the Mission House at the Riverwest Food Pantry. She has lived a private vow of chastity since 2014.

What is Theology on Tap?

Theology on Tap is a monthly event, generally the fourth Thursday of the month, where 20s&30s are invited to join us for free beer and engaging talks by some of the leading thinkers, speakers, educators, innovators, and activists in the nation as they share their insights on various contemporary issues facing young adults today.
